This page shows the graphs with the distribution of different vendor scanner catch compared to MessageLabs’s own Skeptic engine, as a percentage of total catch. The scanners are F-Secure, McAfee, and Skeptic. Sampling is done every 5 minutes.

The first 4 graphs include evetyhing that any of the scanners catch – including Links and Phishing. As one can see, Skeptic is an absolute leader detecting Phishing, followed by F-Secure.

The next 4 graphs DO NOT include Links and Phishing, and, therefore, represent trojans, mass-mailers and numerous other malware. As one can see, Skeptic stops around another 33% on top of F-Secure and McAfee.
